Terms of Service

Welcome to GoalGetr. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and N&P Technologies LLC, an Illinois limited liability company that operates GoalGetr (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using GoalGetr, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

GoalGetr is a goal-tracking mobile application that allows users to:

  • Create and track personal goals
  • Monitor daily and weekly progress
  • Join groups and connect with other users
  • Receive notifications and reminders
  • View analytics and insights about their progress

3. Subscriptions and Free Trials

GoalGetr is free for up to 3 goals (each Sub-goal counts as one). That includes tracking, reminders, the Store and your avatar, and joining groups and their challenges. GoalGetr Premium is an auto-renewable subscription, by the month or the year, sold through the App Store. It adds unlimited goals, widgets, Siri and the Apple Watch app, filling goals from Apple Health, showing goals in your Calendar, starting groups and challenges, breaks, and the full monthly and yearly recaps (without Premium a recap shows the weeks tracked and your average). Its price is shown in the app before you buy, and is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

  • It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • A free trial, where one is offered, becomes the paid plan when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then. While your trial is set to renew, we send you a reminder before it ends: usually two days before, or five days before for a trial of two weeks or more. It names the price when the app recorded the one you saw.
  • You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID’s subscription settings. Deleting the app or your GoalGetr account doesn’t cancel it.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple’s policies.
  • If Premium ends while you have more than 3 goals, the week under way goes on as it is. From the next week the oldest goals that fit in your 3 free places keep going (you can choose a different 3 in the app) and the others pause, with their history kept, until you have Premium again.

4. User Accounts

GoalGetr is made for families, friends and individuals working toward their goals together. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need your parent’s or guardian’s permission to use GoalGetr.

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. User Conduct

GoalGetr has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Harass, bully, threaten, abuse, or harm other users
  • Post content that is offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable
  • Post spam or impersonate others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the service

Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the people who post it are removed from their groups and may have their accounts terminated.

6. User Content

You keep ownership of what you create (goals, messages and so on). By using our service, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you post.

7. Groups and Social Features

When participating in groups:

  • Respect other members and their privacy
  • Group administrators may remove members or content
  • Shared content is visible to group members
  • We are not responsible for interactions between users

Reporting and blocking. Press and hold any message on a group’s message board to report it to us or to block its author. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content and users that break these Terms. Blocking someone hides their messages and reactions from you in every group; they aren’t told. You can unblock people in Profile → Blocked Users.

8. Intellectual Property

The GoalGetr app, including its design, features, and content, is owned by N&P Technologies LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our service without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any goals not achieved or any decisions made based on app data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. If the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts or under your own law, these Terms do not take that right away.
